Breanne Taylor joined the University Ombuds Office in June 2012 and serves as the Associate Ombuds. She provides conflict management and mediation services to students, staff, and faculty.

Breanne’s prior experience includes supporting university employees and students through work in Career Services and IT Support at the University of Oregon. She also provided impartial conflict management as a volunteer Co-Ombudsman for Kidsports.

Breanne is a certified administrator of the Conflict Climate Inventory, applying the tool to diagnose workplace conflict at a systems level. Breanne works with groups to help them manage change and establish a healthy work culture. She is a professionally trained and experienced mediator. 

Breanne holds a BA in Political Science, with a minor in Peace Studies and a master’s in Conflict and Dispute Resolution. She is a member of the International Ombudsman Association and the California Caucus of College and University Ombuds (CCCUO). She has served on the Board of Directors since 2017 and has been a volunteer on the CCCUO Planning and Technology committees since 2013.
